Nancy O'Dell's radio career started as an anchor and journalist for WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a morning-news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reporting on the lax response of the police to DUI instances in Charleston resulted in an investigation by State Law Enforcement Division, which resulted in a new directive from state authorities regarding DUI cases. The Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell her Best Report of the year Award to all South Carolina media. Her work in Charleston led her to serve as co-anchor, investigative report and anchor for NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV. Prior to becoming a part of Access Hollywood she was a weekday co-anchor as well as the NBC weekend co-anchor. O'Dell is the anchor of choice at Access Hollywood.
